Nik gives local scene the low-down

“Nik Noah is striving to go the whole hog.”

Nik Noah aka. Nikolas Jeitler, actually comes from Klagefurt and sets out from Graz to conquer the whole world. He knows about music- that´s for sure. The law student worked as audio engineer and technical engineer – amongst other things – for the Styrian band contest…and he makes music himself – as a soloist. In. particular in the pop/rock genre. 8 years ago- when he was 16 he started his career. His scope ranges from ballads to rock songs and now he wants to go full throttle. In addition he is trying to put together an own band and to organize a tour. A CD is waiting to be released. Undoubtedly: Nik Noah is ready for the local scene.

Watch our for this fresh, hot musician

In the 90´s he was still known as Nikolas Jeitler – yet even then his musical talent couldn´t be overheard. Born in Klagenfurt, he left his traces as keyboarder and lead singer of the Oevesee school band in Graz. 1996 he left the stage of the Antenne Steiermark band contest as the proud winner. Two years later he wrote his first – yet not last – musical “The fat is in the fire”.

Meanwhile Nikolas Jeitler has become Nik Noah: well, just sounds more like a pro Although a musical name doesn´t make a musical career – the versatile law and electronic engineering student is on the best way. For the Kids Theater Company “Mariagrün”, Nik wrote and conducted the musical “Little Muck” (based on the tale by Wilhelm Hauff). This year two of his new songs “Always” and “Like a bird” made it onto the playlist of local radio stations… and this is certainly not only due to his stage name.

Right now he´s busily working on a new song “Fly (all I care about is me) and looking for a suitable record company. Also “Little Muck” is to be followed by a new musical for children. And…Nik has a dream: “music is my life. If I could make a living of it one day – that would be fantastic”. More on www.noahmusic.at

New Songs and Happy Birthday

Three of his songs can already be heard on “Antenne Steiermark” – “Ö3 have announced their interest” Nikolas Jeitler aka. Nik Noah hopes. The singer celebrated his 25th birthday in the Buddha Bar – where – when he is not working on new songs - also works in the evening. In addition he works as stage manager at the Orpheum Graz. Future projects? “I´d like to focus on songwriting”.

Quite a good thing

The Buddha Bar celebrates its first anniversary with EB-jewlery and DJ-Wolf music. Nik Noah – who also works at the society hot-spot wanted to play as warm-up at the REM-concert – “Too good” was the answer of the organisation comitee.

(note: the author meant the “Söhne Mannheims” concert)
